Directors, Members & Supporters

The World Transformation Movement (WTM) has directors, members and supporters. Members are recognised under the WTM’s Articles of Association and are people who support the objectives of the WTM on a daily basis. Supporters are those that the WTM recognises as being appreciative and supportive of its work but who are not as directly involved. At the beginning of 2010, there are over one hundred WTM members and supporters.

Amongst the membership there are also some who have been elected as directors of the WTM. We also acknowledge the contribution of our ‘Founding Directors’, those who were the founding directors of the FHA (now called the WTM), but who have since retired as directors. In the case of Jeremy Griffith and Tim Macartney-Snape, they are both ‘Founding Directors’ and now Patrons of the WTM/FHA.

Jill Griffith’s Memorial Tree, Sydney, 13 December 2008

Jill Griffith, who died on the 4th September 2008, is the mother of WTM members, Jeremy and Simon. Jill’s memorial tree in the foreground of the photo is a pink West Australian Flowering Gum, chosen because Jill and two others founded the now renowned Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum of Australian native plants. Under the tree is a brass plaque which reads, “Jill loved trees, planting them everywhere she went, and this is such a lush and vibrant little tree that it is ongoing living energy to represent all the flowering beauty that is to come from this, the very centre of the world that, against all the falseness, Jill’s incomparable core strength protected into being.

Following the publication of Jeremy Griffith’s first two books, in the early to mid 1990’s students on university campuses (particularly in Sydney, Brisbane and Armidale) became particularly interested in the books’ explanation of the human condition. These students subsequently formed themselves into groups to study the concepts and it is these people who now form the core of the WTM’s support.
