Over 200 journalists, high profile Australians and interested members of the public attended the Launch of A Species In Denial on the top floor of the Australian Museum in Sydney, overlooking Hyde Park. Eddie Coffey, of Peribo books, said it was the second largest audience for a book launch he had seen in his over 50 years in book publishing. (See Media Release (/mr20030605) on the Launch)

Jeremy Griffith and Tim Macartney-Snape went on an Australia-wide tour to promote the Launch of A Species In Denial. Considering the FHA was boycotting the ABC and the Sydney Morning Herald (until they apologise and make satisfactory redress—see Defamation Actions (/resistance)) this promotional tour and media response was highly successful.
